memo

Notes on PDFs that stay PDFs, in your own Google Drive.

  • Your notes are the PDF. Highlights, pen strokes, notes, shapes and attached media are standard PDF annotations: the file opens unchanged in Acrobat, Preview, Chrome or the Drive preview.
  • Your Drive, your folder. Your PDFs live in one folder of your own Google Drive (My Drive/memo by default, or any path you choose) or on this device only. memo has no server holding your documents.
  • Offline first. Every edit is saved on the device, then uploaded. Uploads stream in 8 MB chunks and resume after a cut connection or an app restart.

readz

Speed-read any text. Select, share, read faster.

  • One word at a time. Words appear one by one at a fixed spot (RSVP), at 100 to 1000 words per minute, in steps of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
  • ORP highlighting. The optimal recognition point of each word is marked in colour and always sits at the same place, slightly left of centre.
  • Read from anywhere. “Readz it” in the text-selection toolbar on Android, the share sheet on Android and iOS, paste everywhere, or a link on the web.
